A powerful cyclonic circulation currently positioned over Northwest Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana is set to alter the weather landscape of Northern India significantly. Meteorological experts suggest that this system is moving in a North-Easterly direction and will influence Delhi’s weather patterns until at least April 30. Recent data from the Safdarjung observatory shows that temperatures have peaked at 3.3 degrees above the seasonal normal. However, with the approach of this new system, wind speeds are expected to pick up, reaching 50 to 60 km/h. These gusty winds will be accompanied by intermittent showers and thunderstorms, effectively breaking the current heat spell and providing a cool respite to the entire region, including the national capital and its neighboring districts.
