Delving into history, Rahul highlighted IPL’s role in fostering this culture. ‘A half-decade back, India lagged in power-hitting compared to global powers. IPL flipped the script. Today’s youth idolize sixes from childhood. We learned to leave balls; they practice smashing them. That constant drill makes them unstoppable.’
On a personal note, Rahul shared insights from chats with emerging stars like Abhishek Sharma. ‘Their training regimen builds unshakeable belief. I’m weaving that into my approach,’ he said.
