Dynastic Politics Hindering Women’s Progress, Says Bihar Leader

He argued that the political elite, including prominent figures from the Congress and Samajwadi Party, are primarily interested in empowering women within their own families. Choudhary questioned why the daughters of common citizens are being denied the chance to lead. He pointed out that the bill was designed to ensure that 272 women could serve as Members of Parliament, a move that would fundamentally change the power dynamics of the country and provide a platform for those without political lineage.
