Women’s Power to Punish Opposition for Blocking Reservation Bill: BJP

In a fiery press briefing in New Delhi, BJP heavyweights Tarun Chugh and Pratul Shahdev accused the opposition bloc of sabotaging women’s empowerment. Targeting Congress, TMC, SP, DMK, and allies, they claimed these parties’ resistance to the Women’s Reservation Bill equates to betraying half the nation’s population.

Drawing from PM Modi’s recent national broadcast, Chugh warned that jubilant opposition leaders over the bill’s hurdles would soon regret their stance. ‘People are watching closely. They know who’s fighting for women’s rights and who’s against. The answer is imminent,’ he said, decrying the opposition for shattering the hopes of mothers, sisters, and daughters across India.

The BJP leader painted a stark picture: while Modi tirelessly works to fulfill women’s dreams, opposition parties crush them ruthlessly. ‘This is the brutal murder of 700 million women’s rights,’ he echoed Modi’s words, predicting ‘Nari Shakti’ would exact political revenge.

Shahdev amplified the call with historical flair, comparing modern women to Rani Lakshmibai, who fought with her child strapped to her back. ‘The INDIA alliance will be welcomed with chappals, not garlands,’ he declared, slamming their actions as an attack on national pride.

On a related note, Shahdev addressed ED’s search at a senior Kolkata cop’s home, affirming agency autonomy unlike Congress-era constraints. He stressed Modi’s era has supercharged anti-corruption efforts, with actions based on solid inputs and full transparency. This rhetoric underscores BJP’s strategy to galvanize women voters ahead of crucial polls.
