Bihar Crime Surge: Family Attacked During Wedding Trip

A festive journey turned into a horrific nightmare for a family in Muzaffarpur when armed gunmen targeted them in broad daylight. Sohan Kumar, a resident of Vaishali, was heading to his in-laws’ house for his brother-in-law’s wedding along with his wife and young son. As they reached the Sakra area, they were ambushed by two criminals on a motorcycle. The miscreants targeted the jewelry Shweta Kumari was wearing, and when the couple showed resistance, the attackers fired multiple shots. The severity of the incident has sent shockwaves through the local community, as this marks the third major robbery in the Sakra region within a span of just 12 days. Earlier incidents included a daring heist at a CSP center and a separate snatching case. Residents have expressed deep concern over the lack of police patrolling in rural stretches.
