Residents of Bangra Nijamat village in Muzaffarpur are in shock after a local history-sheeter, Jayprakash Tiwari, unleashed terror on a family for turning down a marriage proposal. The ordeal began when the accused offered 5 lakh rupees for the daughter’s hand. Following a firm rejection, the criminal first attempted an abduction and later returned to open fire outside the residence. During the altercation, he attacked the woman’s brother, resulting in serious internal injuries. The Sahebganj police are investigating the matter and have promised swift action to restore order in the area.
