A spectacular felicitation event in Nagpur celebrated the heroes behind the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple’s construction, hosted by the Dr. Hedgewar Memorial Committee. The program began with homage to Bharat Mata’s idol, graced by RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Poojya Govinddev Giri Maharaj, Suresh ‘Bhaiyaji’ Joshi, and others.
Dr. Bhagwat captivated the audience with a profound analogy: Just as Govardhan lifted only after all logs were piled, the Ram Temple rose through unified societal labor under divine grace. He tied this to Sanatan Dharma’s revival via Bharat’s rise, echoing Sri Aurobindo’s vision from 150 years past. Each incremental effort channels divine energy toward this goal.
Reflecting on history, he marked 2014’s political shift under Modi as the symbolic end to colonial shadows, per international media. But questions lingered: What defines India’s ascent? The Ram Mandir agitation, political will, and grassroots support answered that. ‘From foundation to pinnacle, every citizen’s stake invoked Ram’s miracle,’ Bhagwat declared.
He chronicled RSS’s resource-less journey from Hedgewar’s era, fueled by unshakeable belief despite mockery. ‘They steered the boat relentlessly; destination was certain.’ Now, with the physical temple done, Bhagwat called for Ram Rajya—building the nation’s temple in every soul, per Ramayan ideals, through steadfast endeavor.
Joshi hailed it as Hindu resurgence’s emblem, sparking mass awareness. Rai revealed technical feats: engineered for millennium endurance sans heavy steel or concrete, powered by 100 million donors and pan-India expertise.
