In a key update for Madhya Pradesh’s education calendar, the State Education Centre has scheduled re-examinations for Class 5th and 8th students who failed or missed their primary exams in the 2025-26 academic year. Running from June 1 through June 6, these tests apply to students in government schools, recognized non-government institutions, aided schools, and registered madrasas statewide.
Admit cards are accessible online through the exam portal. School leaders, cluster resource coordinators, and district officials can log in to download and distribute them, with a strict deadline of May 25 for all students to receive theirs.
State Director Harjinder Singh outlined strict protocols. Schools are mandated to conduct remedial teaching sessions by subject before the exams. Pending projects must be completed and assessed locally, with marks uploaded promptly to the portal—crucial for those scoring under 7 or absent earlier.
To manage logistics, exams are centralized at Jan Shiksha Kendra venues. High-volume centers exceeding 500 candidates require special permission for extras. Mapping of schools to centers wraps up by May 15.
On-the-spot printing of papers ensures security, handled by nodal officers with necessary tech infrastructure: dual systems, printers, connectivity, supplies, and electricity. Transport and attendance fall on school staff.
Summer precautions are in place—constant hydration, ORS for heat-related issues, cooling fans, and ties to nearby health facilities. This initiative reflects MP’s commitment to educational equity, allowing thousands a vital retry amid rising summer temperatures.
