Two Arrested After Daylight Gun Attack in Dhanbad’s Baghmara

Police in Dhanbad have successfully apprehended two suspects following a brazen shooting incident in the Barora area. The incident occurred near Mathabandh Ground when Ravindra Chauhan was targeted by a group of eight to ten individuals riding motorcycles. The assailants fired multiple rounds at Chauhan, resulting in a leg injury. Following a swift investigation, the police identified and arrested Anis Chauhan and Vishal Chauhan from the Mandra area. According to sources, the attack was motivated by an old rivalry and an ongoing legal dispute that the victim had refused to settle. DSP Purushottam Singh stated that raids are ongoing to arrest the remaining suspects involved in the conspiracy. Live cartridges and empty shells were recovered from the crime scene, confirming the violent nature of the assault.
