In a strategic push towards Olympic dominance, Haryana’s administration under Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi held a comprehensive review on Monday. The focus spanned sports ambitions, foundational education for kids, nutrition drives, and advanced learning programs.

Renowned as India’s sports capital, Haryana is eyeing the 2036 Olympics with ‘Mission Olympic 2036 – Vijayee Bhava.’ This initiative spots and grooms 8-10-year-olds into medal-winning stars. Funds are approved, and Sports University takes the reins for execution.

The ‘One District, One Sport’ drive ensures district-wide talent hunts, democratizing opportunities from border districts to southern ones. No region is left behind in this quest for excellence.

Tech innovation shines through the upcoming ‘Khelo Haryana’ app, set to empower athletes with seamless access to essential sports data and events.

Rastogi stressed governance benchmarks: transparency, technology integration, and people-first policies. The state is marching in sync with the Prime Minister’s developed India agenda.

Shekhar Vidyarthi from Women and Child Development shared strides in revamping anganwadis. More than 4,000 centers upgraded with learning kits, toys, seating, sanitation, and purified water. An additional 21,962 got specialized educational tools.

Daily, 25,000 trained workers supported by 88 master trainers in 22 districts nurture millions of young minds with superior early education and care.

Directives were clear: Define precise goals, enforce deadlines. NIPUN expansion to Class 5 by 2027, plus elevating anganwadis to premium pre-schools.

Digital oversight ramps up with Aadhaar and ABHA IDs for every child under 6. Health teams compile local nutrient-rich menus and strict malnutrition protocols.

This holistic blueprint positions Haryana not just for podium finishes in 2036 but for raising a robust, educated youth powerhouse.
