The Shillong District Court has granted an eight-day police custody order for all five individuals accused in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case. This includes Sonam Raghuvanshi, the wife of the deceased. The police confirmed this after the accused were presented before the court. The accused, including Sonam Raghuvanshi, Raj Singh Kushwaha, Akash Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan, and Anand, were subsequently returned to the Shillong Sadar Police Station. The investigation continues into the death of Raja Raghuvanshi, whose body was found near Sohra, close to Cherrapunji in Meghalaya, on June 2.
