As the summer heat reaches dangerous levels across Jharkhand, the state administration has proactively adjusted the daily operating hours for all educational institutions. A new order issued by the Department of School Education and Literacy mandates that schools must shift their sessions to the early morning hours to minimize student exposure to the scorching midday sun. Beginning Sunday, April 21, the new timetable will be implemented statewide. Primary and middle school students will be dismissed by 11:30 AM, while those in high school and senior secondary levels will finish their classes by noon. Strict compliance is necessary for both government-run and private institutions.
