Seeking divine intervention and peace, the star athlete participated in traditional Vedic rituals at one of India’s most sacred Jyotirlingas. Clad in traditional attire, Saina performed the ‘Jalabhishek’ of Lord Shiva, a ritual performed by millions of devotees who flock to this ancient site. Eyewitnesses noted that the athlete appeared deeply focused on her prayers, seeking blessings for the well-being of the country and its people. The arrival of the badminton icon created a sense of joy and excitement among the pilgrims present in the temple complex, many of whom were pleasantly surprised to see her.
