Madhya Pradesh’s Board of Secondary Education is rolling out a welcome second chance for Class 10 and 12 students eager to elevate their exam results. Scheduled from May 7 to 20, this supplementary round aligns perfectly with the progressive National Education Policy.

A standout feature this year: zero students declared ‘compartment’ or failed outright. Instead, the focus is on second opportunities for absentees, underperformers, or high-achievers seeking even better marks.

Who qualifies? Anyone absent or failing in one or more subjects from the main exam, plus passers looking to polish their scores. The higher result between the two attempts will stand as the official record. Practical exam retakes are limited to failed practical/internal segments only.

No switching subjects allowed—stick to your original choices. Hurry: online forms close on April 22 through MP Online.

Madhya Pradesh leads the nation as the first state to fully adopt NEP 2020 under CM Mohan Yadav. Primary dropout rates have hit zero, thanks to initiatives like 369 Sandipani Schools and 730 PM Shri Schools enhancing learning environments.

With a robust Rs 36,730 crore education budget—up 11% year-on-year—the state is investing heavily in youth. Over 8.5 lakh underprivileged kids in private schools have their fees waived by the government, bridging resource gaps and promoting equity.

This strategic push not only boosts individual scores but fortifies the state’s educational backbone for long-term success.
