The Kanker Superintendent of Police, Nikhil Rakhecha, reported that an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion claimed the lives of four DRG jawans in the Korosokoda forest area. The martyrs have been identified as Inspector Sukhram Vatti, and Constables Krishna Komra, Sanjay Gadpale, and Parmanand Komra. The operation was part of a strategic effort to sanitize transit routes frequently used by security patrols in the sensitive North Bastar zone.
