A mega campaign for public problem resolution has begun in Balodabazar district
Camps will run till June 10, ‘Chaupal of Solutions’ will reach 49 locations in rural and urban areas
Huge crowd at the first camp, Revenue Minister gives strict instructions to officials – ‘Every application should be resolved within the deadline’
Raipur, May 1, 2026/
The state government’s efforts to implement ‘Good Governance’ on the ground have intensified in Chhattisgarh. As per the vision of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the administration is knocking on the doors of villagers through the ‘Good Governance Festival’ in the Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. This campaign, which began on Friday from village Risda, has set new standards of success on its very first day.
Justice on the spot: 47% applicants get immediate relief
On this occasion, the Revenue Minister said that the priority of our government is to see the person at the last rung smiling. He directed the officials to take feedback from applicants even after the camp to know whether they are satisfied with the solution or not.
The most significant aspect of the camp held in the High School premises of Risda was its sensitivity. Out of the 573 applications received at the camp, nearly half were immediately resolved by the officials in the presence of Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma. This is proof that the government machinery is now focusing on resolving files rather than delaying them. For applications with technical complexities, Collector Kuldeep Sharma has set a timeline.
Departmental stalls become ‘One-Stop’ destination for development
The camp was not just for hearing complaints, but also served as a ‘Delivery Center’ for the government’s welfare schemes. The Police Department distributed helmets for road safety and provided resources to the Bharat Mata Vahini. Similarly, youths were given skill development certificates and Sarpanches of TB-free villages were honored with statues of Mahatma Gandhi, appreciating their social participation. At the Health Department’s stall, facilities for digital X-ray and instant Ayushman card issuance provided great relief to the elderly and patients.
Reaching every household by June 10
The Collector clarified that this is not just a one-day event, but a systematic campaign. Through the Good Governance Festival, access to the administration will be ensured for every citizen in 30 rural centers and 19 urban bodies of the district.
This ‘Chariot of Good Governance’ that started from Balodabazar is now moving towards other parts of the district. The success of the Risda camp has made it clear that if the administration, in coordination with public representatives, reaches the village chaupal, even the biggest problems can be solved in an instant.
