In a boost for the BJP, the second phase of West Bengal assembly polls kicked off with high voter enthusiasm on 142 seats. BJP firebrand Locket Chatterjee voted early in Baranagar and shared her optimism with the press, ink mark gleaming on her finger.

‘Our booth recorded nearly 85% polling already. Morning saw steady crowds, all proceeding without incidents due to robust central force presence,’ Chatterjee noted. ‘TMC goons are thinking twice before acting, so voters feel safe. Turnout will surpass phase one by sunset.’

She foresee a seismic shift, with BJP poised to oust the TMC regime. ‘Bengal is escaping Mamata’s clutches. Citizens crave change and are voting accordingly. Higher participation proves they’ve abandoned TMC.’

Lashing out at Banerjee, Chatterjee called out her ‘baseless allegations’ against the poll panel, BJP, and security forces as a smokescreen for public disillusionment. ‘The violence narrative is TMC’s hallmark to derail democracy, but central deployment has neutralized it.’

Chatterjee stressed the peaceful conduct and called for maximum participation. ‘Everyone must vote to install a BJP government that delivers real progress. This phase sets the tone for a new era in Bengal.’

As lines formed at polling stations, the air buzzed with anticipation of a potential BJP sweep.
