iaomi hosted its Smarter Living 2020 even in India today. During the event, the company launched several smart home products in the country including the successor to the Mi Band 3. It is the Mi Smart Band 4. Yes, Xiaomi is calling this Mi Smart Band 4 and not just Mi Band 4 like previous generation Mi Bands.
The Mi Smart Band 4 launches in India with a starting price of Rs 2,299. The Mi Smart Band 4 will be available in India for the first time on September 19. The Mi Smart Band 4 will be available across various retail channels — Mi.com, Mi Home store and Amazon.in. The Mi Smart Band 4 comes in five colour bands in total.
To recall the Mi Smart Band 4 was launched in China back in the month of June this year. Since then the Indian consumers were waiting for the Mi Smart Band 4 to hit the Indian stores. Xiaomi brings the Chinese Mi Smart Band 4 model in India. This means the Mi Smart Band 4 comes with a coloured display.

The Mi Smart Band 4 comes with a rubber band like the Mi Band 3 but includes much bigger and also coloured OLED display. This is for the first time that Xiaomi has used coloured display in a Mi Band. Overall, the Mi Smart Band 4 is a much upgraded version of the Mi Band 3. Xiaomi claims that the Mi Band 4 can deliver 20 days of battery life on a single charge.
The Mi Smart Band 4 comes with a 0.95-inch AMOLED colour touch-enabled screen that offers a resolution of 240 x 120p. The screen of the Mi Smart Band 4 is protected with a layer of 2.5D curved glass on top. The screen of the Mi Smart Band 4 is capable of showing several kinds of notifications like SMSes, WhatsApp messages, fitness details, among other things. The Mi Smart Band 4 allows users to control music playback of their smartphones.
The new Mi Smart Band 4 comes with a heart rate sensor and several tracking features, but this time they are way more improved. The Mi Smart Band 4 comes with several fitness features like step counting, sleep monitoring, among other things. Similar to the Mi Band 3 the Mi Smart Band 4 is also capable of detecting several activities like running, jogging, cycling, among others. The Mi Band 4 comes packed with an upgraded six-axis sensor which detects different swimming activities such as Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly stroke, and Medley.
