Raipur, April 16, 2026/ With the objective of making governance in Chhattisgarh more robust and effective, the state government is organizing “Sushasan Tihar 2026” on a large scale this year, following the pattern of 2025. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has issued a letter to all District Collectors of the state in this regard, providing detailed guidelines for the successful implementation of the campaign.
The Chief Minister clarified in his letter that the timely resolution of public grievances is the cornerstone of good governance. He stated that providing transparent, simple, and quick services to common citizens is the highest priority of the state government. In view of the positive results of last year’s Sushasan Tihar, this year it will be implemented in a more comprehensive form.
The Chief Minister has directed the Collectors to run a special campaign for the resolution of pending cases in the districts by April 30, 2026. Land-related cases such as mutation, partition, and demarcation will be given priority. Along with this, instructions have been given to ensure quick resolution of issues like pending wage payments under MNREGA, pending beneficiary-oriented schemes, income, caste and domicile certificates, electricity and transformer-related problems, and handpump repairs. The Chief Minister has emphasized providing benefits of schemes like Ujjwala Yojana, Ration Card, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, and social security pension to eligible beneficiaries.
Under Sushasan Tihar, public problem resolution camps will be organized across the state from May 1 to June 10, 2026. Camps will be set up in rural areas based on groups of 15 to 20 gram panchayats and in urban areas based on ward clusters. These camps will not only resolve public problems but will also increase public awareness about government schemes. Arrangements will be made to provide benefits of schemes to eligible beneficiaries on the spot. Instructions have also been given to ensure the resolution of applications received in the camps within a maximum of one month and to inform each applicant about the status of their application.
The Chief Minister has directed that during the campaign, ministers, MPs and MLAs, as well as the Chief Secretary and nodal secretaries, will periodically participate in the camps to inspect the arrangements and establish direct dialogue with the public. This will strengthen administrative accountability and transparency.
During the campaign, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai himself will visit various districts to conduct surprise inspections of development works and scheme implementations. He will interact directly with beneficiaries to get feedback. In addition, review meetings will be organized with officials at district headquarters to review the status of resolution of applications received in the camps and the progress of schemes. After the inspection and review, the Chief Minister will address a press conference and also seek suggestions from social organizations and citizens.
With the aim of giving Sushasan Tihar 2026 the form of a mass movement, the Public Relations Department and District Administration have been instructed to undertake extensive publicity. A strategy is being made to connect more and more citizens with the campaign through various communication channels. The Chief Minister expects all Collectors to ensure the necessary preparations and make this campaign a powerful medium of public participation so that the benefits of government schemes can effectively reach every citizen of the state.
