A wave of protest swept through the streets of Ranchi as the BJP’s women’s wing took out a torchlight procession, titled the “Mahila Aakrosh Mashal Yatra.” This event was specifically aimed at highlighting the frustration of women regarding the delay and opposition faced by the Women’s Reservation Bill. The marchers, holding flaming torches, symbolized their resolve to enlighten the public about the opposition’s stance and to demand the respect they deserve in the democratic process. Prominent leaders, including the BJP State President and Union Ministers, joined the rally to express their solidarity and demand immediate action.
They criticized the opposition alliance for their narrow-minded politics, which they claimed has consistently worked against the empowerment of women.
