Hundreds of revenue officials in Bihar have received relief as Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary ordered the cancellation of their suspension orders. The crackdown was originally initiated by the department during the tenure of Vijay Kumar Sinha. Over 224 revenue workers and several Circle Officers were suspended for participating in a strike that paralyzed land documentation and administrative work. With the new intervention, all affected personnel are directed to rejoin their duties immediately to clear the massive backlog of pending public work.
