In a moment of profound devotion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at Varanasi’s revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple on April 29. The temple premises reverberated with the sacred sounds of damru and shankh as crowds welcomed him with open arms and traditional rituals.

Clad in his signature attire, PM Modi immersed himself in Vedic chants during the elaborate puja. He conducted the abhishek of the Shiva Lingam and participated in the aarti, bowing in humility before the deity. Grateful for the blessings, he received gifts including a ceremonial Trishul and damru from the temple trust.

The atmosphere turned electric as PM Modi interacted with the masses. Slogans of ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ and ‘Har Har Mahadev’ rent the air, while excited kids pushed forward for a glimpse, their cheers adding to the festive vibe. He paused to observe the Vikramaditya Vedic Clock, appreciating its cultural significance.

Shifting gears from spirituality to progress, PM Modi will soon unveil the Ganga Expressway in Hardoi. This ambitious 594-km highway, costing Rs 36,230 crore, connects 12 key districts: Meerut, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Amroha, Sambhal, Budaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Raebareli, Pratapgarh, and Prayagraj. Designed as an access-controlled, high-speed corridor, it cuts travel time drastically, enhancing trade and tourism.

At a subsequent rally, the PM is set to emphasize how this expressway exemplifies India’s infrastructure boom under his leadership. By linking diverse regions efficiently, it paves the way for economic corridors that will drive UP’s growth engine, benefiting farmers, businesses, and commuters alike. This dual focus on faith and development captures the essence of Modi’s vision for a Viksit Bharat.
