Admiral Frank Bradley, overseeing special operations and cyber commands, painted a picture of multifaceted threats dominated by Beijing’s ambitions. He urged readiness for ‘concurrency’—managing parallel conflicts across domains from land to cyberspace.
‘Our forces must be postured against China’s enduring challenges,’ Bradley told senators, while acknowledging dangers from Russia, Iran, and non-state actors.
The hearing spotlighted AI as a battleground. General Joshua Rudd of Cyber Command insisted on U.S. technological primacy. ‘In every facet of combat, from strategy to execution, America needs the edge—especially as AI embeds in operations,’ he declared.
