Raipur, May 1, 2026/Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai posted on social media ‘X’ that mother power is not just a matter of respect for him, but the foundation of creation, culture, and capability. With this sentiment, a one-day special session was organized in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly on the important issue related to the overall development and empowerment of women, in which a broad discussion was held on the resolution to implement one-third reservation for women in Parliament and all assemblies of the country.
Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, a strong foundation has been laid for the social and economic empowerment of women in the country, and strengthening their political participation is our next important step in that order. This resolution is a meaningful effort to fully connect half of the country’s population with their rights.

He said that women from various sections and fields of society were present with dignity in this special session. Chief Minister Mr. Sai clearly stated that creating any kind of obstacle in the path of respect and rights of women power is not justifiable. This issue is related to the overall development and bright future of the nation, rising above party politics. In such a situation, every positive initiative in this direction is essential.
