In a post-floor test showdown in Patna, Bihar’s NDA heavyweights launched a scathing attack on the opposition, particularly targeting RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav. The ruling alliance expressed unwavering faith in their government’s longevity after comfortably passing the trust vote.
Ram Kripal Yadav, a former state minister, extended congratulations to new Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary for the broad-based support. He mocked Tejashwi, advising him to relax since power eludes him for the foreseeable future, and his influence might dwindle even within opposition ranks.
Vijay Kumar Sinha, ex-Deputy CM, expressed gratitude to legislators for their solidarity with the NDA. Recalling past successes, he declared the alliance’s rule in Bihar as enduring. Aligning with PM Modi’s vision, he committed to transforming Bihar into a developed state alongside India’s progress under Nitish Kumar.
Sanjay Saravgi, BJP’s state chief, described Choudhary’s elevation from grassroots to top post as a proud chapter for the party. The trust vote, he said, marks a new era of accelerated growth. On Tejashwi’s barbs, Saravgi retorted that empty words can’t rival the government’s solid backing and capabilities.
JD(U)’s Umesh Singh Kushwaha dismissed the floor test as procedural, with victory assured in advance. He outlined plans to perpetuate Nitish Kumar’s governance blueprint emphasizing efficiency and progress.
The NDA’s barbs at Tejashwi were unrelenting, portraying RJD as issue-less and criticism-focused. With NDA’s majority undisputed, opposition efforts appear futile, confined to public deception.
As Bihar moves forward, this political clash underscores NDA’s strengthened position, promising stability and advancement while opposition voices fade into the background.
