Bihar CM Samrat Faces Rohini Acharya’s Memory Jibe After Lalu Barbs

In the heated corridors of Bihar’s assembly, Friday’s trust vote session turned personal when Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s deputy, Samrat Choudhary, targeted Lalu Yadav. The RJD patriarch’s daughter, Rohini Acharya, hit back hard on social media, diagnosing the CM with a faulty memory.

Acharya’s lengthy post picked apart Choudhary’s address. He spoke of Bihar’s 14 crore blessings, but she challenged: ‘How many voters does Bihar actually have? Was the NDA’s poll pitch built around you?’

She criticized his evasion on proving his age and qualifications logically. Recalling Choudhary’s jail jibes at Lalu, Acharya noted the irony—BJP upholds legal sanctity over vendettas.

Choudhary patted himself on the back for Nitish’s role in his rise, ignoring his past vow, symbolized by a turban, to remove the JD(U) leader—a promise ditched midway. Acharya called out his sensitivity to attacks while he stooped low on her family’s health sacrifices.

Dismissing his power truism, she argued true leaders emerge from public mandate, not backroom deals. ‘You weren’t the face; someone else was conspired against and pushed out,’ she wrote.

This digital showdown reflects Bihar’s volatile alliance dynamics post the NDA’s resurgence. With trust secured, the focus shifts to governance, but these volleys hint at relentless opposition scrutiny.
