BJP firebrand Sakshi Maharaj lit up the political discourse in Unnao with his witty endorsement of seven AAP Rajya Sabha MPs switching to BJP, invoking the proverb, ‘Dawn breaks only when you wake up.’ This comes as West Bengal gears up for the second phase of assembly elections on April 29 across 142 seats.

In an exclusive media interaction on April 27, the MP foresaw smooth sailing for the polls, mirroring the largely peaceful first phase bar a few skirmishes. BJP, he predicted, would storm to power with a thumping majority, riding high on voter fervor in Bengal and a sweep in Assam.

Maharaj highlighted Raghav Chadha’s confession of AAP’s misguided path, positioning BJP as the ultimate democratic haven for welfare-oriented politics. He lampooned Akhilesh Yadav’s anti-BJP rhetoric with Ghalib’s verse, deeming decades-long opposition fantasies baseless.

Kharge’s outbursts drew Maharaj’s ire, branding them as age-induced folly retracted awkwardly by Congress insiders, reflective of the INDIA bloc’s desperation sans power. Celebrating the Ganga Expressway launch, he lauded Modi’s vision and Yogi’s execution as a game-changer for UP.

Backing Brij Bhushan Singh’s maturity, Maharaj advised against trivializing his comments. Reviving Dhirendra Shastri’s population control advocacy—’We two, ours two, theirs two too’—he stressed legal necessities to avert Hindu demographic erosion fueling riots, a view he pioneered amid legal backlash.

Dismissing Swami Prasad Maurya’s barbs, Maharaj quipped that BJP thrives under divine blessings from Modi and Shah, with Yogi’s decisive actions rendering external concerns irrelevant. This multifaceted commentary underscores BJP’s confidence across electoral and developmental fronts.
