In a powerful show of community solidarity, Srinagar hosted a grand anti-drugs rally on Sunday, inaugurating a 100-day awareness crusade. Volunteers committed to house-to-house campaigns, urging residents to reject narcotics and safeguard vulnerable youth.

Crowds swelled with diverse participants, from schoolchildren to seniors, chanting slogans against substance abuse. One woman told reporters, ‘Look at everyone here—young and old, eager to fight drugs. We must eradicate this poison from our society together.’

A male participant highlighted the rally’s significance: ‘We’ve battled drugs for years, but this turnout proves impact. With administration backing and parental vigilance, we can succeed. Thanks to LG Manoj Sinha and Rotary Club for enabling this.’

Another resident stressed familial duties: ‘Families are the first line of defense; keep drugs away from our kids.’ The extended program promises sustained efforts, aiming to transform public attitudes and reduce drug prevalence in Kashmir, where youth are prime targets amid regional recovery.
