Jharkhand PCC Announces 200+ Member Mega Team for Electoral Push

The Jharkhand Congress has rolled out its revamped leadership structure, creating a massive committee of more than 200 members to fortify its organizational machinery. Announced by AICC’s KC Venugopal, the new setup features 16 vice-presidents, 43 general secretaries, 81 secretaries, 44 joint secretaries, and 37 coordinators, reflecting a strategic blend of experience and fresh energy.

JPCC chief Keshav Mahto Kamlesh noted the effort to maintain regional equilibrium and honor veterans through the vice-presidential roles. The list comprises Abhilash Sahu, Ashok Choudhary, Bhim Kumar, Dayamani Barla, Dr. Rajesh Gupta Chhotu, Gunjan Singh, Kalicharan Munda, Kumar Jaimangal, Manishankar, Manzoor Ansari, Naman Bixal Kongari, Pradeep Tulsyan, Rajesh Kachhap, Satish Paul Munjani, Sultan Ahmad Khan, and Suresh Baitha.

A whopping 43 general secretaries aim to streamline party functions. Key appointees include Abha Sinha, Abhijeet Raj, Aditya Vikram, Ajay Singh, Alok Kumar Dubey, Ashok Singh, Ashok Verma, Badal Patralekh, Belas Tirki, Binay Sinha Deepu, Chaitu Urav, Chandrashekhar Shukla, Dharmraj Ram, Dharmendra Sonkar, Dr. Ajay Nath Shahdev, Gajendra Singh, Jaishankar Pathak, Jameel Akhtar, Kedar Paswan, Kumar Mahesh Singh, Lal Kishore Shahdev, Lal Premprakashnath Shahdev, Munnam Sanjay, Niranjan Paswan, Rajiv Ranjan Prasad, Rakesh Kiran Mahto, Ravindra Jha, Ravindra Singh, Riyaz Ansari, Sanjay Pandey, Shabana Khatoon, Shamsher Alam, Shantanu Mishra, Shashi Bhushan Rai, Shiv Kumar Bhagat, Shyaml Kishore Singh, Sundari Tirki, Sunil Sharma, Suren Ram, Surjeet Nagwal, Suryakant Shukla, Tanveer Alam, and Vijay Yadav.

Eighty-one secretaries will drive local outreach, with names like Abha Ojha, Ainul Haq, Ajay Kumar Yadav, Ajay Sharma, Ajay Sinha Mantu, Akil Rahman, Amit Kumar Sahu, Anil Kumar Ojha, Arbi Khatoon, Baby Devi Paswan, Bhavna Gupta, Birendra Tiwari, CP Shantan, Chandan Singh, Chandra Bhushan Saw, Chandrashekhar Das, Chhotray Kisku, Deepak Kumar Lal, Deepak Ojha, Deepak Paswan, Devilal Murmu, Dhananjay Singh, and Dharmendra Paswan standing out.

Gopal Sahu is the new treasurer. The party has also set up 44 joint secretaries, 37 PCC coordinators, and specialized panels including Coordination (34 members led by Vinita Kumari and Yashwini Sahay), Campaign, Delimitation (with Subodh Kant Sahay and Pradeep Yadav), Election Management under Banna Gupta, and SIR. This comprehensive overhaul underscores Congress’s commitment to reclaiming ground in Jharkhand.
