The Ranchi Police have successfully apprehended a criminal gang responsible for a high-value theft, thanks to an unexpected lead from the mastermind’s own father. Following a burglary at the residence of Anju Tigga in the Vidhan Sabha police station area, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed. The breakthrough came when the father of the main suspect, Jitu Kumar Pandey, reported his son’s unexplained luxury spending. Investigation revealed that the gang targeted the house knowing it was empty. Four individuals, including a local jeweler who bought the stolen gold, have been arrested.
