What was supposed to be a night of celebration turned into a nightmare in Jharkhand’s Garhwa district after a man was murdered over a minor disagreement. The incident occurred during the wedding of Deepak Yadav in Raro village. During the traditional welcome ceremonies, a guest named Ravindra Yadav began stubbornly trying to force the groom to wear a pair of sunglasses. Despite the groom’s repeated refusals and the festive atmosphere, Ravindra would not back down. Mukesh Yadav, another attendee, eventually stepped in to stop the harassment, leading to a brief but heated verbal exchange between the two men.
The tension took a lethal turn when the accused found Mukesh alone later that night. In a fit of rage, Ravindra allegedly attacked Mukesh, causing fatal blunt-force injuries. The victim was part of the groom’s inner circle, and his sudden death has left the family in a state of mourning. Following the incident, the accused fled the scene and is currently on the run. The Garhwa police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the murder, emphasizing that no one involved in the violence will be spared. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and additional security has been deployed in the village to maintain peace.
