Tragedy in Hardoi: Drunk Driver Ploughs Truck into Crowded Chauraha, Kills Woman

Chaos erupted at Jagdishpur Chauraha in Hardoi when a container truck driven by an allegedly intoxicated man crashed into a busy intersection. The Sunday morning horror left one woman dead and over a dozen people injured. According to police reports, the truck was traveling at a high speed when it veered off the road, crushing vendors’ stalls and several stationary vehicles before hitting the crowd. Circle Officer Satendra Kumar confirmed that the accident happened around 11:00 AM. Among the 11 critically injured are Ramesh, Pawan Kumar, Ruci, and several others who are currently receiving intensive care at the district hospital. The driver is in police custody, and a case has been registered based on the complaints filed by the locals. The vehicle has been seized as part of the ongoing investigation into driver negligence.
