Following a successful confidence motion in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, Samrat Choudhary addressed the house, laying out an ambitious roadmap for the state’s development. Emphasizing a policy of zero tolerance, Choudhary asserted that his government would never compromise on ‘Triple C’—Crime, Communalism, and Corruption. He expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and JDU leader Nitish Kumar for their support in forming the new government. The session was not without conflict, as the opposition questioned the legitimacy of the current setup, but the treasury benches remained firm in their resolve to push for a development-first agenda.

Choudhary announced a series of revolutionary measures, including a mandate for the children of high-ranking leaders to attend government schools, aiming to revitalize the public education system. He also unveiled plans to establish degree colleges in every block and airports in every district across the state. Among the significant infrastructure projects mentioned were the creation of a 6,000-acre ‘Patliputra’ township and the transformation of Sitamarhi into ‘Sitapuram.’ The government also committed to enhancing women’s safety by deploying female police personnel outside all educational institutions and introducing a compensation of four lakh rupees for victims of road accidents. Despite the treasury concerns raised by the opposition, the government maintained that Bihar’s progress would remain unhindered.
