Jharkhand’s security forces have achieved a massive tactical victory by neutralizing four top Maoist leaders in the Hazaribagh-Chatra border region. The slain Naxals were collectively responsible for over 77 criminal cases across the state. The most prominent among them was Sahdev Mahto, a key strategist for the outlawed organization, who had been on the run for years. He was killed alongside his wife, Natasha, a sub-zonal committee member who played a vital role in expanding the Maoist network across several states.
