Israel Hits Hezbollah Hard: 120 Targets Destroyed in Lebanon Strikes

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) unleashed a powerful barrage of airstrikes on Saturday, claiming to have obliterated approximately 120 Hezbollah strongholds in southern Lebanon. This aggressive response targeted a web of terrorist assets, wiping out 70 buildings repurposed for military use and 50 dedicated Hezbollah installations in diverse locations.

IDF reports detail the elimination of terrorists active close to their ground positions, with precision strikes hitting command centers, arms caches, and support structures vital to Hezbollah operations. In a critical move, air forces destroyed a fully armed rocket launcher set to fire into Israel, preventing an imminent attack.

Accusing Hezbollah of flouting ceasefire pacts repeatedly, the IDF highlighted Saturday’s interception of a rocket aimed at their southern Lebanon deployments. Multiple instances of rocket and drone launches by Hezbollah were neutralized, with projectiles landing near IDF activities. Two inbound aerial threats were also downed before entering Israeli borders.

Domestically, the IDF’s momentum continued from Friday’s joint operations with border police in Judea, Samaria, and Shia districts, leading to over 80 arrests. Captured were shooters at IDF personnel, Hamas backers, weapon holders, IED fabricators, rock hurlers, and Molotov attackers.

Seizures included 20 firearms like improvised Carl Gustavs, shotguns, M-16 rifles, handguns, rifles, and M-4 carbines, alongside bullets, tactical equipment, and provocative items. Three weapons production machines, seven UAVs, and assembled explosives were confiscated. Suspects face ongoing probes by security forces, while arms go to Sha’ar police labs.

These developments intensify scrutiny on Hezbollah’s border provocations, as Israel fortifies its defenses and disrupts enemy capabilities in a bid to enforce stability.
