In a fiery speech at Tarakeswar, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee vowed to secure employment for all Indian Political Action Committee (IPAC) staff in Kolkata, escalating political tensions in West Bengal.

Sunday’s developments unfolded rapidly. IPAC reportedly notified Kolkata employees of a 20-day operational halt and short leave. TMC swiftly countered with a statement debunking suspension rumors, affirming ongoing projects.

Banerjee, speaking at a packed rally, promised IPAC workers integration into Trinamool Congress ranks. ‘I’ve spoken to Abhishek this morning. No child of Bengal will be jobless under my watch,’ she asserted.

Lashing out at BJP, she claimed the party pressures consultancies to sabotage TMC’s assembly election preparations. Detailing alleged ED intimidation—threats to agencies working for TMC—she warned, ‘Scare them away, and they’ll join us with guaranteed jobs.’

She recounted personal attacks: raids on her security officer’s home and tax advisor, plus hours wasted at candidate Debashish Kumar’s residence. ‘You want to kill me to win Bengal? Try it, like CPI-M failed before,’ Banerjee challenged.

Pointing fingers at BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari’s family, she demanded parity in agency actions. IPAC, long-time architects of TMC’s poll strategies, now stand at the center of this BJP-TMC showdown.

Banerjee portrayed the incidents as orchestrated chaos to divide votes and impose NRC, calling on supporters to stay vigilant. Her assurance to IPAC staff underscores TMC’s commitment to loyalty amid agency pressures.
