In a show of camaraderie across party lines, top Indian leaders including PM Narendra Modi extended birthday felicitations to Andhra Pradesh CM N. Chandrababu Naidu on April 20. Modi’s X message praised Naidu’s tireless efforts, stating the state is reaching unprecedented progress in all fields under his guidance. He invoked divine blessings for Naidu’s health and service to the people.

Pawan Kalyan, the Deputy CM, detailed Naidu’s administrative prowess and foresight in his post. From advancing the capital city project to Polavaram completion, Naidu is forging ahead with goals to make Andhra an investment magnet, boosting employment for young people. Kalyan committed to realizing ‘good governance,’ foreseeing Andhra’s national leadership, and prayed for Naidu’s well-being.

Hardeep Singh Puri, Maharashtra’s Devendra Fadnavis, and Rajasthan’s Bhajan Lal Sharma added their voices, hailing Naidu’s dynamism, vision, and dedication. Puri wished longevity, Fadnavis health, and Sharma prayed for sustained success in development.

Tracing Naidu’s roots, he graduated from Tirupati’s Sri Venkateswara University and entered politics via Indian Youth Congress in the 1970s. His 1978 Chandragiri win marked early success, followed by cabinet roles. A shift to TDP in the 1980s amid Congress upheavals proved fateful.

Naidu fortified TDP through crises, assuming presidency in 1995 and CM-ship. His era brought sweeping economic liberalization, IT boom, and streamlined bureaucracy. Dubbed ‘CEO CM,’ his emphasis on FDI and infra upgrades revolutionized governance, setting benchmarks for others.

These tributes underscore Naidu’s influence, as Andhra Pradesh gears up for further growth under his pragmatic leadership.
