The National Health Mission, Jharkhand, held a felicitation ceremony in Ranchi to honor frontline workers and panchayat leaders for their contributions to malaria eradication. Mission Director Shashi Prakash Jha presented awards to individuals from districts such as Sahebganj, Dhanbad, Garhwa, and Simdega. Mukhiyas and JSLPS members were specifically praised for their pivotal role in implementing preventive measures at the grassroots level. Jha noted that the health department remains active throughout the year, conducting 46 different health-related activities aimed at disease prevention and complete eradication across the state.
