In a heartening display of excellence, female students in Telangana have outperformed their male counterparts in the SSC Class 10 examinations for 2024. The Board of Secondary Education declared results revealing a pass percentage of 96.26% for girls against 94.07% for boys among regular candidates.

This year’s aggregate success rate for regulars stands at 95.15%, up from 92.78% in the previous cycle. A total of 516,815 students sat for the exams conducted across 2,676 venues, with 491,774 crossing the pass mark.

Topping the district leaderboard is Mulugu with 99.30%, while Nagarkurnool and Nirmal secured second and third spots at 99.03% and 98.96% respectively. Hyderabad recorded the lowest at 89.23%. Panchayat Raj Minister Dansari Sitakka celebrated Mulugu’s feat, crediting the collective efforts of administrators, educators, and pupils.

The announcement, made by Dr. K Kesava Rao alongside key education officials, comes after exams spaced thoughtfully with 4-5 day intervals—a format that garnered widespread appreciation for easing exam pressure.

Last year, girls had 94.26% and boys 91.32%, indicating consistent progress. Aspiring students can check results online or through the WhatsApp service: send ‘HI’ to 8096958096 and follow prompts with hall ticket details.

These results not only boost morale but also signal Telangana’s commitment to gender parity and quality schooling, inspiring the next generation to aim higher.
