Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor TS Sandhu set a powerful example on Friday by completing his self-enumeration for the upcoming 2027 Census. With the digital campaign now live in every ward, he urged all residents to follow suit and share their details online.

In a post on X, Sandhu announced, ‘Today, I completed my self-enumeration since the 2027 Census has officially started across all wards.’ He praised the platform’s user-friendly design, which allows direct household data submission for precise counting.

‘Trustworthy data is vital for inclusive governance and a thriving nation,’ Sandhu asserted. His call to action resonated strongly, positioning citizen participation as key to future planning.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta joined the initiative, submitting her own details and promoting the campaign. ‘This straightforward, secure process makes it easy for everyone to contribute,’ she posted on X.

Stressing the role of accurate demographics in policy formulation, Gupta said, ‘Precise data ensures schemes benefit every deserving individual, propelling equitable development.’ She implored Delhi’s residents to engage, forging a solid base for a developed city and country.

This housing census marks a shift to self-service digital tools, streamlining what was once a labor-intensive process. By involving leaders prominently, authorities aim to boost compliance and data quality ahead of 2027.
