Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath set the stage ablaze in Chakdaha, Nadia, envisioning a resurgent West Bengal under BJP’s double engine model. Revering the district as the sacred soil of Vaishnava saint Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, he painted a vivid picture of development mirroring UP’s success story.
Yogi’s attack on Mamata’s regime was unrelenting: rampant lawlessness, stalled growth, and erosion of cultural roots. Rallying for BJP’s Bankim Chandra Ghosh, he contrasted Bengal’s industrial collapse—7,000+ factories gone—with UP’s boom of 17,000+ new ones, millions of jobs, thriving MSMEs, and happy farmers. The Ayodhya Ram Mandir, he noted, exemplifies BJP’s resolve in double engine states.
‘Bengal’s era of prosperity dawns with our double engine government,’ Yogi declared, calling for a landslide victory for Ghosh to crush rivals. He invoked Nadia’s call to revive Chaitanya’s bhakti wave for a ‘new Bengal.’
Turning Mamata’s ‘game on’ chant against her, he said, ‘Game over, development starts now.’ Yogi positioned Nadia as Eastern India’s spiritual beacon, like Kashi, birthplace of a pan-India devotion revolution.
He condemned TMC’s cultural insensitivity—a mayor demanding Urdu, an MP glorifying foreign holy sites—insisting Bengali culture will elevate India. ‘Nadia rejects this; our hearts beat for Maa Kali, eyes for Chaitanya.’
Bengal’s glory days, fueled by Tagore’s anthem, Bankim’s song, and industrial might, have faded into unemployment, farm distress, and violence, Yogi mourned. TMC’s goons assault women, loot traders, curb Durga immersions, and desecrate Tagore’s home by imposing leaders’ photos.
This reign of terror leaves no one safe, he warned, imploring Bengalis to vote for security, growth, and Sanatan pride.
