Raipur April 16, 2026/In view of the increasing intense heat and its effects in the state, prioritizing the health and safety of children, the duration of summer vacation in schools has been partially revised on the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that ensuring the health and safety of children amidst the intense heat is our responsibility. Considering the health and safety of children, the decision has been taken to implement the previously scheduled summer vacation earlier, so that the health of children can be protected during this intense heat.
According to the order issued by the School Education Department Ministry, Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, the summer vacation, which was previously declared from May 1, 2026, to June 15, 2026, has been revised, and now the vacation has been declared from April 20, 2026, to June 15, 2026. This order will be applicable to all government, aided, non-aided, and private schools in the state.
