In what is being described as a rare biological anomaly, a four-eyed fish has been caught in a pond in the Pakridayal area of East Champaran, Bihar. The specimen, weighing around four kilos, has become a subject of intense debate among locals and social media users. The fish was discovered during a routine haul at a pond located near a local shrine. The physical characteristics suggest a significant genetic deviation. According to fisherman Rambharos Sahni, who has spent his life working in the region’s water bodies, the fish’s head features four distinct eye-like apertures. While these may not all be functional eyes, their appearance is striking enough to differentiate the creature from any common species found in the region. Experts suggest that such anomalies are often the result of genetic mutations or environmental factors during the embryonic stage. Despite the scientific explanations, the local community remains fascinated by the catch, viewing it as a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence.
