The wait is nearly over for Ram Charan fans! The Telugu superstar’s much-hyped ‘Peddi’ is locked for a June 4 theatrical release, as announced by the team on Friday.

Taking to Instagram, Ram Charan posted the official poster, declaring, ‘Peddi in cinemas June 4.’ The revelation sent social media into overdrive, with admirers expressing their thrill in droves of comments.

‘Peddi’ has courted attention since production began, thanks to its riveting action. A memorable incident occurred when Ram Charan got injured mid-shoot—a gash near his eye needing stitches. Thankfully, it was superficial, sparing his eye, and he resumed filming swiftly.

Buchi Babu Sana’s directorial venture is set in the rustic landscapes of 1980s Andhra Pradesh, chronicling a young man’s quest to unite his village via sports. Janhvi Kapoor stars opposite Ram Charan, joined by Shiv Rajkumar, Divyenndu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles.

Venkata Satish Kilaru spearheads production through Ridhi Cinema in collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers. Fresh off ‘Game Changer’—where he portrayed an idealistic IAS officer fighting graft alongside Kiara Advani—Ram Charan gears up to captivate audiences once more with ‘Peddi’s’ compelling narrative and visual flair.
