Raipur 29 November 2024/ Bus passengers in Chhattisgarh will now be able to get information about bus timetable and bus routes sitting at home.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today launched 'Bus Sangwari App' in the meeting of Chhattisgarh State Road Safety Council to make the travel of passengers easy and simple by implementing the concept of good governance. Chief Minister Shri Sai, while appreciating this initiative of Chhattisgarh Transport Department, said that Bus Sangwari App will be very convenient for the bus passengers, especially the passengers of remote areas. In the near future, the facility of interstate bus transportation and real time tracking of buses will also be available through this app. Currently, passengers have to go to the bus stand or bus stop to know the timing of the bus. The solution to this problem of the people will be available through this app.
Secretary of Transport Department Shri S. Prakash gave detailed information to Chief Minister Shri Sai about the operation of Bus Sangwari App.
This app prepared by Chhattisgarh Transport Department can be downloaded from Google Play Store. Public transport will be convenient for passengers through this app. Currently more than 5 thousand buses are included in this app, which operate in various routes. Soon, information about the operation of interstate buses will also be available through this app. GPS system is being installed in buses. Bus Sangwari app is being integrated with GPS, through which live tracking of buses can also be done.
Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Manoj Kumar Pingua, Secretary of Public Works Department Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, School Education Secretary Mr. Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi, Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. P. Dayanand, Mr. Basava Raju S. were present in the meeting. And Shri Rahul Bhagat, Secretary, Transport Department, Shri S. Prakash, Excise Secretary Smt. R. Sangeeta, ADG Traffic Shri Pradeep Gupta, Additional Transport Commissioner Shri D. Ravi Shankar were present. Commissioners and Inspector General of Police of all divisions participated virtually in the meeting. Chairman of Inter-Departmental Lead Agency and AIG Traffic Mr. Sanjay Sharma gave a presentation in the meeting.
