The Alahanda Khadi village in Bihar’s Katihar district became a scene of chaos and mourning following a violent clash between two neighbors that resulted in a fatality. Mohammad Muzammil, who served as a private clerk in the Barsoi Sub-divisional Court, died after a dispute involving his son turned violent. The disagreement originated from a trivial remark made by a neighbor regarding the son’s educational background and his current work in the fields. What began as a minor altercation between two individuals soon involved multiple family members armed with sticks. Muzammil collapsed during the struggle and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals declared him dead on arrival. Local authorities have since been deployed to the village to maintain order and prevent any retaliatory violence between the grieving families.
