In a wave of euphoria, Jharkhand’s BJP celebrated the party’s decisive wins in the West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry legislative polls. Monday’s festivities at the provincial office saw leaders exchanging congratulations with sweets and tilak ceremonies, reflecting the electric mood.
Describing the outcomes as democracy’s triumph intertwined with nationalism, top figures expressed unbridled joy. Babulal Marandi, the opposition leader, lauded Bengal’s electorate for dismantling TMC’s reign of terror, syndicates, gender vulnerabilities, and illegal settlements. He envisioned a resurgent Bengal aligning with the Prime Minister’s developed India pledge.
Extending kudos to Assam’s Himanta Biswa Sarma, Marandi highlighted votes cast for stability, safety, and enduring development. Arjun Munda, former Jharkhand CM, portrayed Bengal’s success as a testament to prolonged activism rooted in national pride, sparked since the 2021 polls.
Munda attributed the breakthroughs to Modi’s foresight, Shah’s masterstrokes, and Nabin’s grassroots grind. The dual mandates in Assam and Puducherry, he said, seal voter approval for progress-driven governance. Raghubar Das invoked historical icons like Mookerjee and Vajpayee, profusely thanking Bengal’s women for powering this shift.
Beyond politics, Das viewed it as a victory for hope and transformation. These results bolster BJP’s regional dominance, inspiring Jharkhand units to push for similar pro-people policies and rapid infrastructure boosts.
