Before making waves on the silver screen as Satyabhama in ‘Krishnaavatram’, actress Sankriti Jaainya turned pilgrim, visiting the holy grounds tied to Lord Krishna’s life. Her journey spanned Mathura’s sacred birthplace and Dwarka’s legendary battlefields, blending spirituality with cinematic anticipation.

Starting in Uttar Pradesh, Sankriti met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Mathura. She presented the ‘Krishnaavatram’ trailer, humbly requesting his blessings ahead of her debut. The interaction underscored her reverence for the role.

Amid trailer launch festivities, she conducted pujas in multiple UP temples, channeling bhakti into her preparation.

Her odyssey continued to Gujarat’s Dwarka, where she connected with Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. After showcasing the trailer—which earned his praise—she worshipped at key shrines including Satyabhama and Dwarkadhish Temples.

In an exclusive insight, Sankriti revealed, ‘Portraying Satyabhama compelled me to honor Krishna’s janma and karma bhoomis. The poojas at these temples, filled with aarti and darshan, were soul-stirring moments of devotion.’

Praising the CM encounter, she noted, ‘It was a highlight showing the trailer to Bhupendra Patel ji; his approval and blessings mean the world.’

Sankriti’s social media captured the essence: ‘Returning the film to Krishna’s birth soil felt right. Crafted by fans for fans, launching at Janmabhoomi was more than an event—it was devotion shared with fellow Krishna lovers.’

Granddaughter of prominent politician Anandiben Patel, Sankriti steps into ‘Krishnaavatram’ debuting globally on May 7. The film, rich in mythology and drama, positions her as a fresh face in devotional cinema, with her pre-release rituals adding layers of authenticity.
