In a significant push towards inclusive development, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh revealed that the government has rolled out an all-encompassing support mechanism for SC, ST, and weaker sections, beginning right from their early years. The statement came during the inauguration of the J&K chapter of Dr. Ambedkar Chamber of Commerce at Jammu University on Saturday.
‘Our goal is to equip these sections with skills and opportunities from the grassroots level,’ Dr. Singh stated, moving beyond traditional reliance on public sector employment. He encouraged embracing entrepreneurship through PM-led initiatives to build personal enterprises.
Outlining the system’s strengths, the minister pointed to seamless guidance from childhood. Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana revolutionized financial inclusion by bringing banking to doorsteps. Mudra Yojana’s low-barrier loans have sparked a wave of micro-businesses. PM Vishwakarma Yojana safeguards artisanal crafts, linking them to modern markets for steady livelihoods.
Statistics reflect success: economic upliftment for marginalized communities and a surge in ambition. Ordinary youth are cracking UPSC and other tough exams, embodying societal progress.
Looking ahead, Dr. Singh promised broader outreach of these schemes, empowering more citizens to join the nation’s growth story. This strategic ecosystem is not just aid—it’s a launchpad for generational change.
