Dominating headlines once again, Apple Inc. unveiled stellar Q2 results, with CEO Tim Cook expressing profound excitement over India’s burgeoning market. The March quarter saw revenue hit all-time highs, propelled by double-digit gains in emerging economies like India, Greater China, and Asia-Pacific.

‘We achieved revenue records everywhere, with strong double-digit growth across geographies,’ Cook told analysts. This includes robust performances in both mature and developing markets, where Apple’s products are resonating deeply with new users.

iPhone sales led the charge at $57 billion, surging 22% from last year, credited to the innovative iPhone 17 lineup. Parikh emphasized iPhone double-digit growth in powerhouse regions: America, Latin America, Greater China, Europe, India, Japan, and Southeast Asia.

India stands out in Cook’s vision. Amid plans for a sixth retail store, he noted the country’s impressive trajectory. ‘It’s great to see our growth continue in India in recent years,’ he said. As the second-biggest smartphone hub and third for PCs, India’s rising middle class and low market share for Apple spell huge upside.

‘Our user base is expanding rapidly here,’ Cook observed, pointing to first-time adopters across iPhone, Mac, iPad, and Watch categories. Mac revenue climbed to $8.4 billion (up 6%), boosted by recent launches like MacBook Neo, with double-digit gains in India and Indonesia.

iPads drew more than 50% first-time buyers, many from emerging markets like India, Mexico, and Thailand, where revenue grew double-digits. US customer satisfaction hit 98%, according to 451 Research.

In a fresh chapter, new CEO John Turnus joined the earnings discussion for the first time. Apple’s strategy of premium products tailored for expanding demographics positions it for long-term dominance in India and global emerging markets.
